Dream Build Play 2008 Begins

Ok it has finally begun for another year, Microsoft has launched the Dream Build Play competition for 2008. Up for grabs this year is about $75,000 worth in prizes.
With this years event you are given the chance to work in teams of up to 7 people and create a groundbreaking game for the Xbox 360 using Microsoft's XNA Game Studio 2.0. The competition runs from June 5th through to the 23rd of September, remember for all those who register you will be given a free 12 month XNA Creators Club Membership to assist with the development of your project.
Here is a breakdown of the prizes that are on offer.
- First Prize - $40,000
- Second Prize - $20,000
- Third Prize - $10,000
- Forth Prize - $5,000
Remember that all of the four place holders will also be given the opportunity to receive an Xbox Live Publishing Contract.
So the time has come to drop on over to the Dream Build Play web site and register yourself or team for the event. Even if you do not have an idea yet register yourself, collect the trial membership and start thinking.
